Otter nets are created using only the finest domestic reclaimed woods available. Each handle and hoop has its own unique appearance, not your ordinary mass produced tool, rather a stylish and functional work of art.
Basket Materials & Hoop
Paying attention to the smallest detail our nets are hand laced into the hoop. You can choose from either traditional soft small cell black nylon or clear rubber netting. Three laminations encircle the handle and basket. Three additional color contrasting laminations are applied to the front of the net for added durability while enhancing the beauty of the hoop.
Wave Inlay Detail
We call it the wave... a reminder of standing
on a peaceful stream, gazing at ripples flowing across the water. Each handle incorporates hand selected woods chosen for beauty in complimentary colors creating a unique one
of a kind addtion to your net.
Waterproof Finish
Six coats of durable marine grade finish is applied to all nets, insuring that your Otter Net will be ready for many long days on the water.
Magnetic Release & Leather Strap
We build a rare earth magnet directly into the hoop. Why? They are the strongest magnets available & we wanted a functional release, that was designed to show off the beauty of your hoop. Durable water resistant leather strap and snaps finish off our user friendly design.
